We thought our lagoon was as good as it gets. Then we found the other one. A spot we won't name and won't put on a map. A place like that, we'd like to keep to ourselves a little longer.
Where is it?
No.
Let's say somewhere on the Bilene lagoon. The GPS coordinates live on a single phone, and that phone is not

How do you get there?

What's there?
A white sandbank, a flat-water channel as straight as a ruler, a huge shallow area where the water turns turquoise. And often, flamingos watching you ride past as if it were perfectly normal.

What level?
All of them. The channel for experienced riders, and the vast upper area for beginners: we give lessons there. Learning where the pros lose their words, with flamingos as your audience, sets the bar pretty high. The kite school →
How do you get a chance to go?
Be in Bilene on the morning the wind says yes. In other words, come during the season (September to March) and stay a while. The rest of the time, the everyday lagoon delivers: 90% of days rideable, and nobody in your window.
